About Ruth

I'm a distinctive, contemporary artist based on the Isle of Bute, just off the West Coast of Scotland. My work captures the energetic and bold nature of the creatures and landscapes that surround me (I have a pet sheep and donkey just over the wall from my kitchen window!). I love drawing animals and capturing their quirky nature and their beautiful form. My signature style is Wire Work and was derived from wanting to draw with a small child in tow. The style has developed and grown and can be found in a variety of forms including AniMac's unque wedding stationery. My work captures the very essence of modern Scottish animal art and is contantly evolving.
